History

Founded in 1976, Commercial Kitchen Service Company has been a trusted provider of commercial kitchen equipment repair and foodservice equipment service for nearly five decades. The company was established by John Guettler, who, alongside his wife Dolores; owned and operated the business for 50 years. Together with three of their four children, they expanded the company’s reach to service commercial kitchens throughout the state of Michigan.

In 2025, ownership transitioned to Trevor Weirauch, bringing a new generation of leadership built on the same strong foundation. Trevor spent over 20 years managing maintenance operations at Zehnder’s of Frankenmuth, including both the iconic restaurant and Zehnder’s Splash Village Hotel & Waterpark. During that time, he gained extensive hands-on experience in commercial kitchen maintenance, equipment repair, and preventive service—with a deep understanding that exceptional customer service is the cornerstone of every successful operation.
Today, that commitment to reliability, responsiveness, and customer-first service continues to guide everything we do.
